All Matboard(s) used by It’s Your Frame are manufactured to the Library of Congress Specifications. The Library of Congress provides and publishes conservation specifications.
All matboards used by It’s Your Frame are produced within the limits of 2-5% Calcium Carbonate and contain no Lignin, the compound found in paper that causes yellowing.
Aging tests show that our matboards will perform well over 200 years and beyond.
